Mega MacroRight before our front door lies what many divers are still looking for: easily accessible, almost unoccupied by divers and largely untouched reefs. Bohol is well known for its manifold and colourful macro world, which especially makes photographers’ hearts beat faster. Multitudinous nudibranchs, crabs, shrimps, gobies but also mackerel and tuna swarms on a daily basis. The lucky diver might see one of the shy turtles, a napoleon or even a treasure- or a whale shark. Spectacular drop-offs, coloured coral gardens as well as caves and grottos guarantee varied dives to beginners and pros.Currents are medium to medium-high with good to very good visibility. Things always happen when you least expect them: the chances to meet a visitor from the deep blue are especially good between February and April. Dive spots are all located within two to 30 minutes by boat from the resort. If you are an experienced diver, you will have the opportunity to explore our species-rich house reef – a beautiful spot for snorkellers also – on your own and at any time of the day. Diving is possible the whole year through with water temperatures between 25 and 30°C. The best season to travel on Bohol is from November to May.
